You can play FutBaller without an account and without giving us anything. Signing in exists for one reason: so your builds can carry your name on the GOAT board and stay attached to you. We do not sell your data, we never hand your email or your account to an advertiser, and we do not email you. The site does carry ads, which Google serves — see below for what that means.

Signing in happens through Google. Google tells us, and our database keeps, the profile it returns with your account:

• your email address
• the name on your Google account
• the web address of your Google profile picture
• your Google account ID, and whether Google has verified the email

Your name and photo are never shown anywhere on this site. The GOAT board identifies you only by the build name you type in yourself. Our database physically forbids a real name or photo from being stored against a public build.

We never receive your Google password, and we cannot see anything else in your Google account — no contacts, no files, no other email.

Your email identifies your account so your builds come back when you sign in again, and so a build on the leaderboard belongs to someone. That is the whole use.

We do not send marketing email, newsletters, or notifications. We would only ever email you about your own account, and only if you contacted us first.

When you put a build on the GOAT board it becomes public: the build name you chose, its position, mode, rating, season result and the club it was signed by. Choose a build name you are happy for strangers to see.

Builds you make without signing in never leave your device — they are saved in your own browser and we never receive them.

The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in. We set nothing for advertising and nothing that follows you around.

Our analytics are privacy-first: they count page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.

Ads on this site are served by Google AdSense, and Google may use cookies or similar technology of its own to choose and measure them. That is Google's processing, under its own policy. We do not give Google your email, your name, or your account — it never learns who you are from us.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you will be asked to consent before any advertising cookie is set, and you can refuse. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and the game works exactly the same either way. You can change your answer at any time from the privacy link in the ad settings. You can also opt out of personalised advertising across all sites in your Google Ad Settings.

Four services, each doing one job: Google for sign-in, Supabase for the database that holds accounts and builds, Vercel for hosting the site, and Google AdSense for the ads. Nobody else, and no data broker.

Only the first two ever see anything about your account. AdSense receives no email, no name and no build of yours — it serves an ad to a browser, not to a person we have identified for it.

You can delete your account yourself, right here, at any time. It removes your account and every build you have posted to the GOAT board. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.

You can also revoke FutBaller's access from your Google account permissions. That stops future sign-ins but does not delete what we already hold — use the button above for that.

FutBaller is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep data from them. If you believe a child has made an account, email us and we will delete it.

FutBaller is a fan-made game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any football club, league, or governing body. Club names, colours and crests belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify real clubs.

All ratings are FutBaller's own, produced by our StatGrounds analytics engine from publicly reported match data. They are our opinion, not an official measure of any player, and they move with live stats and performances through the season. See the full ratings sheet.

Player photographs are supplied by our data provider and remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

This is a game played for entertainment. Nothing here involves real money, real transfers, or gambling of any kind.

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
